CBAM software for exporters in Türkiye and their EU buyers
Karbonet is carbon-accounting software with a CBAM module. Producers record their installations, goods and yearly emissions data, see what verified actual values save against default values, and hand their EU buyers and verifier the same numbers every time.
· Checked against the official EU texts on that date. CBAM rules and guidance change, so check the latest Commission guidance before you rely on a figure.
What Karbonet does for CBAM
Installations and goods
Record each production site (country, city, UN/LOCODE) and the CBAM goods it makes, with CN code, Annex I sector and production route.
Embedded emissions per good
Enter the yearly data for each good: production, direct emissions (or pull them from Scope 1 entries tagged to the installation), electricity and its emission factor, precursors with CN code, quantity and factor, and any carbon price paid. Karbonet calculates the direct, indirect, precursor and total specific embedded emissions per tonne.
Default or actual: the cost
A simulator puts the default value with the mark-up of the year next to your actual value and shows certificates and cost at the latest published price. You enter the default value from the official table; our Türkiye table has them.
Reports for buyers
A CBAM PDF report with an installation-level annex (tonnes, direct, indirect, precursor and total emissions per tonne, precursors, carbon price) and a one-page savings sheet for EU buyers. Each report’s fingerprint is anchored on a blockchain and can be checked on the public verify page.
Access for your verifier
A time-limited, revocable, read-only link to your ledger, emission factors, reports and audit trail, with a CSV verifier pack.
Beyond CBAM
Scope 1–3 ledger with emission factors, market-based Scope 2 with energy contracts (certificates, guarantees of origin, PPAs), VSME report, supplier requests for the emissions of what you buy, CSV import, REST API and webhooks, audit log and team seats.
What Karbonet does not do
- It does not file the CBAM declaration or connect to the CBAM Registry: the declaration is filed by the EU importer, and an operator uploads its data to the Registry itself.
- It does not fill in the Commission’s operator’s emissions report template; you transfer the figures.
- It does not replace an accredited verifier.
- It does not look up default values for you: you enter them, and the guides link to the official tables.
- Supplier requests collect one total for what a supplier sold you, for your Scope 3 ledger, not installation-level CBAM data.
For exporters in Türkiye
- One place for installation data, year after year, in the structure EU buyers ask for.
- A savings sheet that shows a buyer what your verified data is worth to them.
- A read-only link for your verifier instead of email attachments.
- Turkish interface, and companies in Türkiye are billed in Turkish lira.
For EU importers
- Ask suppliers that use Karbonet for the installation-level CBAM report: the same structure from every supplier.
- Estimate certificate costs per good with the simulator, or start with the free CBAM calculator.
- Keep the dates in view with the CBAM deadlines timeline.
